Today I tried Lorraine Pascal's no bake chocolate brownies. They were amazing! While mine didn't turn out quite like brownies at first, the result was still delicious. I got a gooey chocolate dessert, that I put into little pots and served with strawberries. A very rich treat that my parents were very glad I made for them:
I substituted the dates for dried cherries and the cashew nuts for hazelnuts. It reminded me of naked bars, but without any sugar at all. I then left the remaining mixture (hidden from my parents) in the freezer overnight. They were solid by the next morning and I cut them up and stored them in the fridge.
